- Salt Fork State Park, Handicap picknick area, Sighting by a hunting party having a lunch break spots bi-pedal creature, Approx. 8' in height, Dark reddish color. Creature stepped out of the tree line, Looked at the hunters and went back into the forest, Only 3 of the 7 hunters seen the creature. The sighting lasted less then 10 seconds. The hunters believed that once the creature realized they were there it turned to flee. None of the hunters were willing to go look and see what it was due to the fact that the 3 hunters that did see it refused to go with and refused to go hunting the rest of the day.
- Norton, Ohio East of route 23, South of 229. Crappie fishermen describe hearing a very loud screaming sound coming out of the woods behind them at Deleware State Park. They claim that the scream lasted almost a minute and a half in length and was compared as a ambulance siren that got stuck on one pitch.
- Highland County, Between Paint Creek State Park and Seven Caves. Local was driving down Browning Road when a very large & dark creature crossed the road in two steps in front of his pickup about 60 yards away. Driver was alone and noted that the creature did not even take the time to look either direction simply crossed and was gone.
- Pike County, Watson Rd, Close to Scioto River, Trapper was pulling his lines for the last time of the year and noticed a very large footprint in the frozen muck along the riverside, Print was un-shoed, 18" long, 8 1/2"wide, 3"deep and had short stubby toes that spread out very wide with a large "gap" between the toes.

Me and my friend Mike were at his grandparents house, i honestly cant remember but it was either early 2007 or winter of 2006 but there was still snow, any who his grandparents own alot of land, running to the left of thier home is a creek that goes down through the woods, comes to the road and goes into a metal tube under pass, then continues across the road into the woods, well we would go down to the creek just for fun and to hang out, on the paticular day we saw some wierd impression from up on the road in the snow and mud down by the creek, we went down for a closer look and discovered to be what looked like giant human foot prints of course were smarter than that and imediatly we both realized what it was, we followed the tracks and they stared down the creek, almost coming out of the shallow watere, then walking into a part that had very little water, and thats where the tracks started in the slushy snow, and then continued down, went a bit on some exposed mude, and then disapeared as they reached the metal under pass tunnel, then we decided we should look on the other side of the creek across the road we crossed over and to our surprise more tracks unfortunatly we were a bit frieghtend so we didnt follow them up into the woods where they led but i will tell u this, right next to the tracks we found a somewhat fresh deer carcass, now i have no idea if any sightings before have been reported in south western ohio but i will tell u this i have never been more convinced in my life. Please id like to here what you think, i could possibly get you a map of the area and house, house adress, and the name of the creek if your interested........ My name is XXXXXXX XXXXX, i live in youngstown ohio. A few years ago i was hunting on public hunting grounds in southington ohio. It was around 6:30 am before sunrise. i parked my car at a local v.f.w and stood in the parking lot next to the woods to have a cigarette before i went into the woods. As i was standing there i heard a rustling in some brush about 15 feet away from me. I paid no mind to it as it was hunting season and animals were up and moving, but a few seconds after the rustling started i heard this very almost evil kind of laughing or it might have even been aggressive grunting but it was alarming enough for me to grab my shotgun, cock, and take aim, but as soon as i raised my gun it took off into the woods! I decided to wait till the dawn to break before i dared to go into the woods, i was pretty shaken up! Then around 10 o'clock in the morning i was sitting under a tree just above a small ridge when i heard this very large object move through the woods, large enough to shake to trees and i could he this object in a fast jog. That was the last time i hunted there.
I have recently watched "monster quest" on the history channel and it was about the ohio grassman. They said on the show that he was reported to be more aggressive then a sasquatch, could that have been aggressive grunting towards me that i was hearing? could i have encountered this grassman? I really haven't spoken to anyone about this outta fear of ridicule, but i've always wanted to talk to a proffesional about what i experienced and watching "monster quest" has finally made me ask that question.

Me and XXXXXXX got spooked and started back the way we came and was being followed by what sounded like a person walking in the woods but it kept it's distance ,about 30yrd. from us we started at a fast walk and a loud snap like that of a half dead but crisp sapling tree sent us running.As we rounded a pond a very big dark figure of a man came out of the wood line and i caused XXXXXXX to run we got around this pond by our car and a very large rock was thrown into the water making a very deep kuplunk.We got to the car and got gone to fast to investigate.
WhatDidYouReview = It was about 1:00 am on June 21 when I just thought I would step outside to look at the night sky. When I stepped outside I walked to the right side of our house and started smoking a cigarette. I stood there for about 2 mins. and all of the sudden I heard this god awlful scream come from the field to my left. I ran back inside because it scared the crap out of me at which time my mom was on the computer and she said what is that! I said I do not know the scream went on for about 2 mins. then stopped. So the following day I decided to listen to some animal sounds on the internet at which time I came across the sound that was labeled the "Klamath Scream" that was on a bigfoot page. This sound was the exact same sound we both heard that first time. Then as the weeks went on I have had more class c,d,and e types of reports. I have found structures and have found a possible nesting area, tree snaps and lots of tree arches. No more than about twenty feet from th e nesting area, I found the last structure that was intertwined with birch bark and some type of paste that was like glue, that kept the structure together. I do have pictures of all of these finds and witnesses on the last hike we took in the woods. The estimated hike in the woods is about 3/4 of a mile to these finds. By all of the structures I have found this green runny fecies that is possible berries and other plant life mixed in it. I have been hunting since I was ten years old. I have a tracking and trapping licence since school from FFA, but hasn't been renewed. I have never heard, seen, or smelled anything like this before, and have lived here near Perry County all of my life. My question is, could this be a possible Bigfoot? I have also heard chimp noises and owl calls that went into a howl. He said it was covered in hair just standing there. He was so frightened he ran home and this is a 69 year old man. Who doesn't believe it things unless he see's it for himself. WhatDidYouReview = This happened in 1978 or 1979 I lived in Kent OH I was 9 or 10 yrs old I now live in CA. What I saw was something walk between my neighbors breezeway between the porch & garage. I was so dark that it almost blended into the night. It was dark and it was like in April to June I can't rememeber the month, maybe summer time cause we didn't have school. It was very tall and it eyes seemed to be glowing & yellow. I don't know what I saw but I know I saw something.
YourLocation = XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX, XXXXXXX, Ohio, Knox County WhatDidYouReview = i had an eerie feeling about the tree line acroos the XXXXXXXXXX.so i took a flash light and was shining it along the tree line. i went over it 3 times. the first 2 times i went over the tree line and it just seemed like it was a tree. but the third time it was not there. i went to my girlfriend's trailer and told her not to come out and then i got her dad. me, her dad, her brother, this other kid doug and my girlfriend went to go see. when we got over to where i saw the figure, all of the brush on the ground was pushed down and it seemed as if something walked at least a five to six foot stride in each step. there was also a part where it seemed like it was crouched down and hiding. all five of us heard sticks breaking and rustling in the bushes up on the other side of the road where we thought it was. my girlfriend's dad kept looking to see if he could see it, and her brother and the friend that was with us was flashing the flash lights all over the place . all of a sudden her dad started to run and say,"There, there!!" so we flashed the lights on the spot and i saw the creature run into the bushes and crouch down. he was a dark brown color and he was gigantic. his arm was at least twice the size of a normal guy's arm and it booked it right out of there when we got the lights on it. after we thoguht he was gone, i heard grunting and a screeching noise. as i left i heard an animal-like moan. i've never experienced anything like it before. when i experienced bigfoot, it was around 1:30 in the morning and it was on Sunday, June 29th. I was mowing the trails at mohican state forest, it was in the summer of 1982 I was mowing like I said we used a john deere 1020 tractor, I looked up and down the trail at a crossing of the gas line and the forest road I saw a tall stocky figure light brown to dark in color, I didn't see anything that looked like cloths, kind of looked more like a gilly suit anyway what ever it was, crossed the width of the trail in less than three strids. I saw it enter the trees on the left side of the road and saw its head scrape a small limb, When I got down to where I saw it enter the tree line, I stood up while on the tractor and my head was just at the hieght of the little limb I had seen it standing on the tractor I was a little over 20 inches higher off the ground I am 5' 10" 1/2. so I figured what ever it was was close to if not 8' I found no foot prints and did not see what ever it was when I got to the place it crossed even though I looked I am a hunter and traced deer a lot at that time but could not find anything of what it was. I am a pro photographer and I was out hiking just shooting pictures. I met up with a friend of mine who is a deputy sheriff and was still in uniform. We were standing by our cars in the parking lot off XXXXXXX Road when another hiker walked out of the woods to his car. Then,the man name I honestly cannot remember, walked over to us. He saw my friend in his police uniform and told us, "Hey, just for your information, there's a guy in an ape suit back there." The man was 100% sure and very, very insistent on what he saw. He told us it was the best damn gorilla suit he's ever seen. When my friend pushed him for details, the man said the guy (in the ape suit) was digging on the soft shore of the creek. After a very brief minute of small talk he got into his car and left. As did we. I just thought it was odd that this guy would say that. corn field going in between the rows heading towards the XXX river
bed. We heard a russling over the river bed but figured it was just a
few does laying down for a mid afternoon nap. When we crested the
imbankment and got a clear veiw of the river we saw what my grandpa
described as a brown bear. Bear are not common to the area but a few
sitings have been reported through out the years. We tried to be as
quiet as possible to get a better look as neither one of us ever really
saw a bear before. The animal was partially blocked from our veiw with
foliage and a briar patch. I would guess we were within 75 yards or so
of the animal. At one point I smelled something like a wet dog as the
breeze was in our face. Then the animal stood up and looked right
towards u!
s but could not see us in the bushes. It almost looked like it was
trying to catch our scent. It appeared to be around 6 or 7 feet tall
and wide. I think this is why we assumed it was a bear just from the
shear size of it. My grandfather swore until the day he died is was a
brown bear. I always assumed it was just to ease my mind about the
icident. The one aspect of the story that leaves me wondering is when
the animal left. It left in a hurry. It took 6 or 7 leaps on its hind
legs and I remembering thinking to myself if that is a bear it has long
legs. Then it went into what looked like a gallop or trot on all fours
up the side of the hill leading down to the river. We did not stay long
after that as grandpa did not want to have that bear sneak up on us. I
have since been in that area on numerous occasions since then and never
saw anything like it again.

Officer but when I was 16, 1969, I saw and struck with a car, a large
bipedal hairy creature well over 6' tall near the east fork of the

or screamed, then got up a ran on its rear two feet.........leaving a
large dent in my front fender and hair and blood on the car....This was
the beginning of what the local people call the east fork

description = Me and my friends XXXXXX and XXXX were walkin down XXXXXXXroad (XXXXX ohio) on a dark night. as we were walking down the road,
justin threw his bottle in the weeds and all the sudden it came flying
back. at first we thought it was XXXXXX XXXXXXX, the local crazy man, but
then we saw it, standing atleast 8 feet tall and hairy jumped out of the
bushes and stood there. it made some sort of screatching sound kind of
like a bat, and ran off into the night. after that we were stunned and
walked back to my house, on the way, we saw a helicopter with a search
light around the area were we saw the creature it circled there for a
bout 5 minutes then landed, we were to scared to go, but about 20 mins
later it took off. about 10 mins later we hear gun shots. ever since
that we have not been back to the wooded area, even during the day.

description = I live in south georgia and I hunt alot. In 2000 me and friend of mine went hunting late one after noon. Well we was about to call it a day when a deer crossed my hunting spot. I took the shot and I hit the deer. My friend came over because it was getting late and we did'nt want lose sight of eachother. I told him where the deer went in what direction. It was cold but not frezing and I was excited about getting the deer well we went in the woods about 100 yards from where I shot the deer.We went over this little ditch and around a corner of trees because of the blood trail. Thats when we saw it. I have never been so scared in my life. My friend just stood there no saying anything. It had got to the deer I shot.The deer was dead of course but he must have smelled the blood or something. The dear was on the ground and the bigfoot or whatever was like crouched over it.It had its head in its hands and I saw where he had bit a chunck out of it. Time we turned the co!

YourLocation = XXXXXXXX, West Virginia WhatDidYouReview = I seen 7 or 8 in a group walking in a field behind a church on XXXXXX. I seen baby ones playing in the edge of the woods. I seen them first before I seen the other ones. I watched the littles play for about a half an hour before I seen the other ones. The other ones just walked down the field like they were having a conversation and when they noticed me they just walked into the woods quickly.I lived in a house close to this sighting. My son who was 14 at the time was on the deck with me when we heard this mighty yell that echoed through the holler, It hollered more than once . I knew it was a bigfoot definitely. I'm a country girl and I've been in the woods most of my life, I have never heard anything like that before.I don't know if that was a warning because I seen the little ones and the younger ones. The one I heard was definitely big Daddy looking after his family. I know he wanted me to know he was out there marking his territory.I could tell you things that would make your head spin,Things that are absolute truth,I'm a god fearen christian woman and I would never lie to anyone and you have my word.Hope to talk again soon. YourLocation = XXXXXXXXXX co. ohio WhatDidYouReview = Was nite fishing in july 1978 on the banks of XXXXXXXXX. We(my buddy and I) where fishing across from the XXXXXXX in a secluded cove. Around 1 am, we heard a loud screaming sound across the lake like we had never heard before. Spooked, we just sat there by the campfire because we had walked thru the woods a long way from where our car was parked. About 1 hour later we heard it again and no sooner than after hearing it, one screamed right behind us in the woods. terrified , we turned around and shined our lite to see a huge figure just inside the treeline for a breif second and then it turned and ran and could be heard crashing thru the woods. we sat there until daylight because the path out was the same area as we had seem it. upon walking back, we observed branches and limbs 7-8 feet off the ground broken and snapped off and large footprints in 1 soft area. we contacted the game warden and talked to him. he dismissed it as a black bear we had seen while drunk! I have never told this story and actually not thought about it over the years until I saw this sight, and,what the hell, I am telling you.
